We at the Gazette have decided to praise and shine the light on hallmarks of Bearblog’s full glory. While probing our minds for unique and entertaining posts, we remembered the one this post is about: Booger Diary. For this first iteration, we’ve decided to collectively glaze him for being a memorably authentic blogger. From the drawn visual representations of how things look like in the mind of a booger, meticulously crafted with a shaky computer mouse and the oldest version of MS Paint ever, to the very descriptive struggles of being an expiring gay man looking for serious dates on the shittiest dating infrastructure humanity has ever seen, Booger Diary covers all bases in humorously parodying life in our times.
We’ve read over the posts again together, loving the art style and humor. This is a type of blog we’d love to see more! Mono then said:
"GIVE US SNOT, NOT SLOP!"
And it’s just so true! So true in fact, that we decided to name this post (and possibly series?) after it. No matter how silly or small or personal the topic, this is what we love to read, what we like to come to the internet for, the type of stuff we share to enjoy with others. Not the hyperpolished AI-enhanced stuff!
Unfortunately for us, Booger Diary had not been journaling into the Bearblog Firehose for a while. To our surprise, while writing this, the blogger made a great comeback. Seeing him posting again brings us the warmth like seeing boogers on a public bathroom's walls. So, Booger Diary, if you see this: Please stick around! We need you to purify our timeline with your naughty, dirty posts. Please.
Edit: Since some old men do not seem to get it: Snot is a reference to this blogger’s name being “boogerdiary”. Instead of AI slop, we prefer his thoughts, which we deemed snot because it sounds so similar to slop and fits his username. Hope that helps! It’s honestly embarrassing and disappointing to immediately make it about voyeurism; just check out the blog’s creative posts and drawings :)
